AORA

Mexico City
AORA is a scalable, versatile, and adaptable pavilion designed to trap particulate matter present in the air, featuring anti-pollution textiles and air monitoring technologies. It serves as a communal space for contemplation while providing instant access to real-time air quality data.

Rapid development has led to severe pollution in many Mexican cities, yet public access to air quality information is often limited. AORA addresses this gap by offering clear and user-friendly visual representations of environmental data. Through sensors and dynamic LED lights integrated into its structure, AORA communicates real-time contamination levels and historic air quality information, acting as a grimy beacon of transparency and inspiring a collective commitment to environmental stewardship.
