New York City NICE Station represents the collective aspiration of the New Immigrant Community Empowerment (NICE) organization, manifested in its expanded facility nestled in Jackson Heights, Queens – a vibrant tapestry of cultural diversity within New York City. As the starting point for recently arrived immigrants, NICE Station signifies the beginning of a journey in pursuit of prosperity. 

Recognizing the challenges faced by newcomers who often lack the essential resources and networks, NICE Station will offer a range of supportive environments co-created to meet the diverse needs of staff, volunteers, members, and non-members alike. It embodies an ethos of empowerment, fostering a sense of belonging and facilitating enduring personal and collective growth through the power of community.

To shape this vision, we collaborated with staff, volunteers, and members of NICE, engaging over 200 participants through surveys, roundtables, and hands-on workshops.
